1. Information we collect
When you register, Hax stores your email address, username, first and optional last name, and a password hash. If you use the service, we also process the profile settings you choose, skills you publish, favorites, collections, team memberships, API token metadata, usage totals, and account security events. Session records include an encrypted IP address, device or browser identifier, creation time, and expiry. Passwords are stored as Argon2id hashes, not plaintext.
2. How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, provide the catalog and API, manage subscriptions and teams, enforce usage limits, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability. Public profile details and public collections may be visible to other visitors according to your settings.
3. Skills and AI services
Hax provides access to skill instructions through the API. Your configured AI provider may process information you send to it; that provider is separate from Hax. Do not place secrets, passwords, or personal information belonging to others in a skill or prompt unless you have a valid reason and permission.
4. Sharing and infrastructure
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with infrastructure providers that host the database, application, and uploaded media, or where required to protect the service, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request. Hosting locations and providers may change as the service develops.
5. Retention and security
Account information is kept while your account is active. Session and audit records are retained as needed for security and operations. We use password hashing, encrypted session IP storage, access controls, and transport security where configured. No internet service can promise absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You can edit profile information, change your password, revoke sessions and API tokens, export account data, and request account deletion in your profile settings. Deletion may be delayed where records must be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve security and service issues.
Browser storage
The frontend uses browser storage to remember your appearance preference and support account authentication. You can clear this storage in your browser settings; doing so may sign you out and reset preferences. Additional analytics or marketing services added by a deployment require their own disclosure.
7. Children and changes
Hax is a developer service and is not designed for children. We may update this notice as the service changes; the current version and its effective date are shown here. Material changes will be presented in the product where appropriate.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact the Hax service administrator through the support contact published with your deployment. Effective date: 14 October 2026. Version: 2026-10-14.
